So I just watched WARM BODIES. The story is great, it made me really giggle and I think the story-line was just awesome. (Though my friend said it was torrent-worthy haha) Anyway, Hollywood is successful in making just about anything that's scary into hot. From vampires, werewolves, elves, etc. and now ZOMBIES.. As the movie finished, I realized the story line was a little bit familiar and a little bit too nostalgic. So I checked again and I think I'm right.. The story of the movie actually has some similarities with Your Favorite Martian's music video story of "Zombie Love Song". The creative mind behind Your Favorite Martian, a fictional cartoon band, is none other than, Ray William Johnson, internet superstar.
Zombie Love Song was uploaded and released on, Feb 9, 2011 and you can watch the video here.
Here are some things that I found just too similar between the two.
The Zombie in Warm Bodies was named R= Ray William Johnson
Blue pants, Red Shirt, White t-shirt inderneath=Same as the lead singer/character of YFM (in the book, R wears Black slacks, grey shirt, red tie)
And the poster of WARM BODIES is similar to the scene in the music video where the lead singer, as a zombie, gives flowers to the girl
Then that scene with the "hooded zombie" walking to the girl's house.(both have that scene)
The humor in the movie is similar to RWJ as well. (I think.. with the first person narration and the sarcasm..I just think so)
R loved music in vinyl=it is the same as the type the DJ in YFM uses
If you watch the movie and then watch the music video, the similarities cannot go unnoticed. I may even have missed some here.
Of course, the major difference is that the zombie became human again in the movie but in YFM's music video, the girl turned into a Zombie to be with the one she loves. I think that may have been the original plan if only Twilight didn't already get that kind of ending (girl becomes vampire).. hahaha
Anyway, I think there are just too many coincidences as to similarities of YFM's song and the movie, WARM BODIES.
I don't know.... I think RWJ should be given credit or something. I'm sure some of RWJ's fans figured that out as well.
The movie still really was entertaining for me but I think someone has to explain something to RWJ.
Those are just my thoughts. You judge for your own..
UPDATE: So I made a little investigation. The book which the movie was based from was published more or less the same year as YFM.. so who's the original concept creator?
This blog is a treasure to those who finds it. There are no limits to topics here. They are as random as my mind. My thoughts are open. My heart exposed. Read on and discover. It's just me and you.

Stages of moving on..
Have you ever experienced a heartbreak? Have you ever lost someone you love? Do you love someone who does not love you back? Did you just get betrayed?
Being hurt is natural. If the person meant a lot for you and then suddenly they leave you h anging of course, you get confused and the first instinct that comes to you is to fight for the relationship. At times, yes, fighting for it will work but if the other party has made up their mind or worse they have found someone else to replace you, this will open you to a lot more feelings you never thought you would ever experience. You can never tell your reaction during that moment. Even the best ones fall when it comes to love and moving on is as hard as not breathing. Trust me, I've been there and I'm still there. If there is love, unfortunately, there is no easy way to get rid of your feelings of them. You probably are wishing now to forget everything because the pain is unbearable.
Well, you know what? You are not alone.
No matter, how much you think your situation is different from the rest of us, think again, being hurt, heartbreak and pain, everyone has undergone it and everyone has a story to tell. Most lived through it, some never got over it, some chose to end their lives because of this and that's what I made this blog for. To help anyone who is experiencing these things and don't know how to move on.
A friend of mind showed me this blog http://psychcentral.com/lib/2006/the-5-stages-of-loss-and-grief/ and it talks about the stages of loss and grief. The blog is applicable to those who lost their loved ones to death.
I have my own version on steps for moving on when it comes to heartbreak. Either because of a third party or your partner just left you because they "fell out" or you broke up with them for one reason or another, these stages are essential to moving on. So if you are still in a particular stage in your opinion, then do not worry, you are moving on. It's part of the process.
Stage 1: Denial Stage
In this stage, people react differently. Others would pursue the other person believing there is still hope even if they left them behind. They would offer their love "for free" hoping the other party would eventually realize they are the best people who will love them and come back to them eventually. Those who were the dumpers would pretend the other party never existed to a point of complete indifference. They ignore the other party, not even try to look at their pictures or any of their social media accounts. Usually the dumpers, don't want to excessively entangle themselves with the dumpee but sometimes since they are usually the pursued, they don't want to tell the dumpee off, enjoying the familiar company of the other party still but don't want to commit to them anymore.
The denial stage is the first stage. Some undergo this for the weeks and some months and rarely, years. The main reason why it takes them so long to pass through this stage is because of the lack of realization they are in denial. They don't want to accept it's over or rather they want it over too soon.
Stage 2: Bargaining Stage
"I should have done this..."
"I could've done better.."
"If ever she/he comes back to me I will/I will never..."
If you ever had these thoughts or anything of the same note, then you are in the bargaining stage. Some would even try to bargain with God, by going to church to pray and petition the other partner to come back and pledge to be a better Christian or whatever religion they belong to. The bargaining stage is the one where you start laying with fate. That you try to look back in the past and try to undo it by making it up for the future. Some would do things like give flowers because they never used to give flowers before when they were still in a relationship. Some would kill themselves with regret blaming themselves for their inadequacies that cause the other partner to leave. Those who were the dumpers would pursue flings and vices that they never got to do while they were in a relationship. They do everything to take their minds off the other party, whom they left behind. They act like they just got "out of the cage".
The bargaining stage is the stage where you want to pursue different and new things which you think might or could have changed the relationship.
Stage 3: Grief Stage
This stage is the time when you are finally realizing the other party is never coming back and the relationship is truly over. You start mourning for it and drown yourself in tears. Especially when you finally realize that there has already been a physical separation between the two of you as compared to before that you used to see each other every other day. Both dumpers and dumpees experience this. Of course, the person was always with you and they became a part of your day, suddenly their absence overwhelms you and you realize you have a lot of time in your hands.
If you are in the grief stage, the void is usually filled with time spent not alone. You want to constantly hang out with your friends. Some drown themselves in work.
The first two stages usually are a cycle. The grief stage is the key to proceeding to the next step. If the person never stopped to grieve for the lost relationship or the lost loved one, they might find themselves back in the denial and bargaining stage. So allow yourself to cry, allow yourself to feel the pain and allow yourself to let it all out and do not deny yourself comfort. Whether in the arms of your friends or family, grief is the most essential stage one should go through.
Stage 4: Anger Stage
Do not confuse the anger stage as the stage when you felt angry right after your breakup. The anger stage is when you truly realize your pain is unwarranted. That you finally realize you've done everything for the relationship and you didn't deserve to be left or didn't deserve to have to break up with them for one reason or another. Of course, you entered in a relationship because you wanted it to last but because of the other partner it didn't. The anger stage is important, allow yourself to be angry at the other person. They hurt you and you love yourself so it's natural to protect yourself from the pain. When someone slaps you or punches you, you get hurt right and you get angry at them for doing so. If you have already started valuing yourself more than the other person, then be angry at them. Do anything to let anger out. The theory is the nearer the time you broke up then the more you are entitled to be angry at them. It's only because they hurt yoou that you are angry at them. Don't worry, anger will pass eventually.
The anger stage usually last for a short period of time. If you are angry at that person let them know. It feels good to let it out, no matter the consequence, let them know how hurt you are and how angry you are at them. Tell them you hate them even if you don't really do, shout at them, scream at them, send them hate texts or mail. I would recommend personal time if you can get them to meet you. The more you let it out, the better you feel later.
Stage 5: Acceptance Stage
When you have finally accepted the loss of the relationship, you won't have any more feelings towards this person. The acceptance stage comes very slow depending on how fast or how slow you underwent the stages if ever you allowed yourself to undergo the stages. For a lot of people, the acceptance stages is proportional to the time you had a relationship with the person. Which means, the longer you were in a relationship with the person, the longer the tie you need to accept that they are gone from your life. Usually married couples who got separated will have a hard time accepting the end of the marriage and still fight ever now and then especially when they still have too communicate every now and then regarding affairs that got intertwined because of the marriage like the kids, house and bills. Remember if two people still fight, they still have that familiarity with each other and never truly accepted the loss of the relationship as they haven't cut off that feeling yet. If truly, you have accepted the end of the relationship, both parties will no longer want to engaged in fighting and treat eachother cordially. If you are still indifferent and angry with your ex and/or still treat them differently among other people in your life, you are still not over them.
To move on, you have to completely let go which means no communication with your ex and if you still are, you no longer try to analyze every message and call, no more trying to analyze why you broke up, no longer trying to make each other miserable, no more feelings towards your ex except the fact that they were a part of your life and you can no longer change that. Acceptance is allowing yourself to be happy which may orr may not mean finding a new love. I always recommend (but don't usually follow my own advice) that people should stay single for a long time after the relationship, not because you are not over your ex, but allow yourself to get rid of the baggage or else your next partner will suffer. Allow yourself to undergo these stages of moving on. Its when you make that first step and decide for yourself will you truly be able to stop the pain faster and get through it faster.

3 month old baby boy needs your help...PLEASE DONATE OR ELSE HE WILL DIE (Not a SCAM)
This is addressing anyone who is reading this blog with money or with a kind heart. This is not a SCAM, I am not trying to get views, i have no advertisements in my blog nor am I selling anything. This is for my nephew, look at my profile on facebook and my blog, I am a possible future lawyer, an honest Filipino citizen and I am begging for your help and only your help.
My nephew, Zachery Mc Nathan Alvarado (Nate) was born on May 27, 2010 with a congenital heart disease called tetralogy of fallot. He is otherwise known as a "blue baby" because usually babies with this condition has bluish skin or has a "Tet Spell". Actually, it is a miracle he surviving. Nate's heart is not pumping ANY BLOOD TO HIS LUNGS AT ALL and the reason he is alive now is because THERE ARE SMALL VEINS CONNECTING FROM HIS HEART DIRECTLY TO HIS LUNGS GIVING HIM OXYGENATED BLOOD. Veins that are not supposed to be there.
It's the miracle of life!
Now, He needs at least 1 Million Philippine Pesos or USD 23,000 to have his surgery ASAP or else my nephew might not survive his first year. (That's only for his surgery on his heart aloney) Worst is, he also has a dilated kidney. (Which needs another big amount for the surgery)
Before he turned 3 months, he has been in and out of the hospital because of his condition, he has been having repeated Urinary Track Infection. My nephew was born and IS big and healthy, he has a big chance of surviving the surgery for his heart and kidney but the problem is my sister and her husband do not have enough financial resources for his operation.
They had a considerable amount set aside but due to the bills this is fast depleting. We need a kind soul to please help us. Please Donate or give us a loan. We promise we will pay it back. Slowly but surely though we know we can't guarantee anything. Of course, how can you just trust a complete stranger but I assure you, my sister and his husband both have jobs they can pay it back. I will also donate in paying back when I graduate law and become a lawyer and get a job. I did this blog just so that the baby can have a better chance to live hoping and praying that someone out there will answer our call. They have already started getting rid of their properties just to save his life. Anyone out there please donate for this baby and make your own life worth living. ANY AMOUNT WILL DO. It's good karma and you know you helped. Even if you don't believe in God, someone out there greater than you will reward you in this life, in kind or in blessings.
UPDATE: Right now, Nate (my nephew) is in Manila with my sister and her husband. He underwent a major surgery to immediately address his dilated kidney which has already started to get infected due to the fact that his urethra and bladder are not connected. So the doctors put a tube in his side so as he can urinate without a risk of infection. :( It's so sad it made all of us cry. He's too young for all of these things! In fairness, The doctor said that Nate is rare because most babies who have his condition are irritable but Nate is smiley and with a happy disposition. Proof that Nate wants to live and we love him sooooo much.:( Please Help US ANYONE. This baby is smart, I can feel it. He can make a difference in society when he grows up.
Again this is not a SCAM. Why would I use a baby to gain money? For any kind soul willing please donate at marianjanealumbro@yahoo.com through paypal. That's also the same account I used to be paid for being a ghost writer before and I'm using it now for Nate's sake. I accept Paypal and Bank payment through my Banco De Oro account or most major Philippine Banks just contact me comment below for the account number or email me at the same email.
Thank you for at least reading. If you know anyone who can help please refer us. God Bless you!

One night stand or friends with benefits?? Which would you choose?
This was the topic of "Bobby and the Gang" a couple of Thursdays ago. The house was divided as to which is better and ultimately it was a stalemate. No one wants complications so abstinence would be the key to avoid it.
One Night Stand
PROS
1) Interesting, it's something new.
2) You can pretend to be as interesting as you want them to think.
3) No obligations, no bullshits.
4) No commitments.
5) Slim chance of meeting them AGAIN someday.
6) Safe when you're cheating, no giving of numbers.
7) If you already know this person it's personally easier to just pretend it never happened since it was just a one time thing.
8) No flaws are usually notice at this time.
CONS
1) Not safe, you don't know this person might be psycho, then again that's where the thrill is.
2) You could fall in-love at first sight, or not.
3) You'll regret it especially if you were drunk as hell that time.
4) You don't know where this person has been to.
FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS
PROS
1) You're comfortable with this person being acquainted already.
2) You can always have a mutual understanding about your relationship.
3) It could lead to something more like a serious relationship.
4) The companionship is constant but the heartache is not.
5) You know them so you know they are not a psycho, hooker or criminal.
CONS
1) Complications arises especially when the other party falls inlove and the other does not.
2) A lot of misunderstandings will arise so you are forced to keep it in secret. (Admit it, it's kinda hard telling people you're not in a relationship, you're just Fubu's)
3) Anytime one can just leave and you are left alone again with out a companion in your lonely nights
Up to you to decide the meaning of the two terms. As for me, been there, done that. Serious relationships are still the best!

Loving someone who brings out the worst in you...
If you're like me when it comes to relationships then probably you've dated a lot and I have dated a lot. I met guys in all the wrong and all the right places and have regretted most of them but a selected few I can actually say meeting them was a pleasant experience. Some made me feel like summer, some made me feel like hang over, some guys were just there for experience, some were just plain there. I don't deny the fact that I fall easily probably it's because I do believe the one for me is out there maybe I've found him now but I don't want to expect too much at this point. Things change but that's not what I want to blog about. I want to blog about people who bring out the worst in you. As my friend terms it, "Loving a monster".
It's human nature for us to show our best side especially when we are with people we just met. It happens when you are dating this cute guy or girl the first time. You make sure they find you as interesting as you want them to think and make sure that you always have a "good time". However, I think most would agree with me that once you are in a relationship with this person, you enter in to that level in the relationship where you're too comfortable with each other that the barriers and inhibitions are gone. You start showing the real you, you start voicing out your opinions more, disagree with them more and even fart in front of them. Imagine yourself in the position of the other person. She/ He is saying to him'herself "What happened? Who is this person? This is not who I went into a relationship with. Why doesn't he open the door anymore? Why doesn't she sleep with me more? Why are we arguing more?Etc." Well reality check, either they lost interest or that's who they really are. We know this ourselves that once you just let go of your best side, your real side shows up and that other person might not like it. Hence, that's mostly the reason why relationships fall apart and lovers tend to grow apart.
So how do we know? We don't. Being in a relationship means you are joining another person, another human being, who grew up differently from you, who has a different life and thinking, into your life. You can't always make them adjust to you because they can't always make you adjust to them. You know very well who you are. Marriages work because they live in the same house, eventually their lives will intertwine and things are easier to accept. On the other hand, marriages fall apart because no one in the relationship will accept reality and wants to stick to the "ideal" (e.i. the time when she wasn't this fat, the time when he wasn't bald, the time when we used to have a lot of fun now, we're just boring, the time when we had money, etc.)
So what we need to do is throw away those idealistic views about someone and a relationship and accept them as they are. Being in a commitment means you are there even if it is not your comfort zone anymore. If you really can't take it anymore, be honest at least and leave the other party in peace, hurting yes, but in peace.
The worst of it is when you fall for someone who just gives you that love-hate type of relationship which probably most will not understand. My advice, let them go. They don't deserve you at your worst, when they were only with you at your best. I say that because at your worst, is the time you will grow, is that best time in a person's life to change and be transformed. After that, whoever stayed, is the one who is for you. However, a caveat if you may: Never do anything you know you would never do later on if you had not felt that way. Remember, any love, hate, anger, bitterness or happiness that you will feel right now will pass but the regret will last a lifetime.

Short Story: Remember me...
This is a short story I made, dedicated to a good friend who passed away at a young age. If he could talk, if he could tell us now what he thought, he might have said this:
Where am I? I can't feel anything. I'm trying to familiarize this place through my senses but I can't see, hear, and feel a thing. I can't even smell anything, is my chest even moving? I'm not even breathing. Everything is so unreal. I don't know what happened. I'm scared. It feels like a very long way from home. I don't know the way back. I remember going to the beach with my friends. Though we were bummed out at first because I recklessly took the wrong turn and we got lost earlier, every one seemed to be having a great time afterwards. Jonathan, my best bud was making one of his corny jokes, he usually does things like that to mask away his frustration. We've known eachother since we were 5 years old. We went to the same highschool and college. I guess you could say, we've connected in more ways than one. He was trying to impress this girl in the group, Tanya. I don't really know her, she just broke up with her boyfriend so I guess that's the reason why she's being oblivious to Jonathan's moves on her. I was trying to tease them but Jonathan gave my a light punch on the groin. We usually kid like that. I remember looking at each of the faces of my friends. There was Laurence, he's a DJ. He's the type of guy who would give up a very-high paying salary to do the job he loves and he's Jonathan's usual laugh trip companion. They both share the same humor. Beside him was Maggie, his girlfriend. Me and Laurence have had this strange relationship since they became a couple and the reason was obvious. I used to love Maggie but because of one way or the other, she found her way into his arms. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for them and Laurence is being a sport about it too. It might get some time before the awkward feeling will lift between us three. Charlisse was sitting beside me and I was holding her hand. We've been dating since March. She's beautiful with a slender body. I couldn't quite say I loved her. I just enjoyed her company, she knew how to have a good time. We laughed and ate as if there was no tomorrow. I remember eating a lot of "lechon" and I remember taking a stroll at the beach with Charlisse enjoying the view of the horizon. We enjoyed the picnic but sadly, then it was getting late. Too late...We decided to head home. As we were packing our stuffs, that's when we heard it. A scream of a woman. Me and Jonathan went to check it out and ran towards her. She was pointing at the waters, "Save her! Save her!" A little girl was in the water, frantically trying to stay afloat. She was probably 9 or 10 years old. I had the most experience, so I was confident. I was a swimmer back in college and I worked part-time as a lifeguard aside from working for my mom's native goods business. I wanted to save up for a new laptop. I wish I was at least able to buy that. Without a second thought, I dove into the cold beach waters and swam towards the girl. I think Jonathan followed me, but I didn't look back. I had to save the little girl. Everything was so fast. I saw the ocean, the white foam I was making from all my strokes. I was still hearing the screams of the woman on the shore, pleading, but it was getting weaker as I swam far from her to the little girl. I remember reaching there grabbing her hand trying to stop her from struggling. I looked back, Jonathan did follow me, as I gave her to him to take her back to shore. I was swimming to get back back when I felt a sharp pain on my leg. I couldn't move it. Cramps? Me? I never got one in all my years of training in swimming. I used to swim three times a week. My weight was pulling me down. I tried to swim up but the pain was too much. I managed to break from the surface to scream for Jonathan's help. Anybody's help. But they were all crowding at the sight of the little girl being carried by Jonathan on the shore. No one noticed me struggling on my own. Fighting the ocean to save my life. My body gave way. My energy was running out. I let out my last breath of air and let the water enter my lungs. I felt a heavy pain on my chest and everything was pitch black.
I wish I could go back. There were a lot of things I wanted to do. My mom, who will take care of her if I'm gone? I was the eldest in our family and my Dad left us for another woman when I was 12. My sisters were still 10 and 8 years old. I'm sorry mom. I had to leave, it wasn't my choice. The last 24 hours of my life was nothing special. I always thought, you would experience signs. A warning would have been nice. That morning, I fought with my mom for a stupid thing as cleaning the car. I hated doing that but mom always makes me. If I were given a chance, I would clean the car everyday, if I could only go back. As for my Dad, I was no longer mad at him. I forgave him a long time ago. I knew he regretting doing what he did but my mom would not accept him anymore. I remember afterwards picking up Charlisse. I was still pissed off but somehow seeing her face, made my mood lighter. Before meeting our friends, we went to a nearby hotel and I made love with her. Love? I never used to say that word. Did I love Charlisse? I thought I would never fall inlove that easily but I guess loving her was easy. She had a great personality and she got along with my friends. I wasn't able to introduce her to my mom yet because I think it was too soon. If only I can hold her hand again. If only I could tell her, I did love her. I would introduce her to my mom, to my sisters, Becky and Ina. Who's that crying? It's so loud. It's a guy. Jonathan? Whoa, he cries like a girl. I haven't seen him cry so hard for anything. Was it because of me? Because I'm gone? Jonathan, you're such a sissy. We're always bad boys for life bro! I'll be waiting for you at the other side. Facebook? Oh yeah. My last status was "All that we are is what we thought" Sheeze if I had known that was my last status update, I would have put on something wiser. Sorry everyone. I think I'll be going ahead. Thank you for sharing my last moments with me. Please move on. You're all in my heart. If I could say to you just one thing right now, I love you.

Love or Lust?
Image by roberthuffstutter via FlickrWhen asked about this, surprisingly some admitted to rather be horny than lonely. A temporary high in pretended to be lovers is a good way to solve the loneliness but does it really mask everything? Can anybody be truly happy with just lust? Some would even joke that they would rather have love because lust will come after naturally. Seriously, I admit having a fling is interesting. It's new and adventurous as compared to a commitment. It has a mix of uncertainty and drama that keeps you hanging and wondering. You fall in love with the idea of being inlove. If you don't know how to distinguish then you will certainly lose to the feeling and if your partner does not have the same mindset then be prepared to lose "your arrangement".
But when all else fails, what remains? Would it be love and lust? I think we all know the answer to that. Compared to a common fling, or a person who's more then a friend, like a lover but less than a commitment, a real commitment is forever, you tie your lives together, the promises come in and you blanket yourself with security. I know not all commitments last, God knows I know that now but still it's better than none. It's better to have loved and then lost than to have not loved at all and never lost anything because you never gained anything.

Would you rather be the dumper or the dumpee?
I have some time to spare before hitting the sack. This post is not about giving advice, it's just about your preference and reasons why some people choose them.
In relationships which are at the twilight of their existence, you are either the dumper or dumpee. Dumper, meaning you are the one who suggested or initiated the break up, "The one who left" or Dumpee, meaning you are the one who consented or "the one who was left". In my experience, being either of the two is never a pleasant experience. Being the Dumper, you have to deal with the reaction of the other, the guilt-trip and the regret later on. Being the dumpee, you have to deal with the rejection, bruised ego and the after-break up stress. Aside, from the usual "Alcohol-induced coma" that some (ehem) often self-inflict after a break-up, post break-ups are always nasty and it usually takes months to recover. They involve a lot of issues and a lot of head ache (usually caused by a hang over lol). Kidding aside, people have their own way of coping, it doesn't matter if you were the dumper or dumpee. You undergo a lot of self-searching and adjustments in that period of time after just getting out of one and the duration usually depends on the length of your former relationship especially if you were in a very long relationship that lasted for years.
Of course, speaking of post-break up eras, people cope depending on the reason they broke up. If there was a third party involved, then you would certainly be dealing with more issues which are more on your level of security with yourself if you were the dumpee. Questions like, "What's wrong with me? What was my fault? Why did he/she replace me? Am I ugly? Am I fat? Was I not good enough?" keep coming back in your head. For the Dumper side who has found someone else, don't expect them to be hung up over you. They have moved on and so should you. That's the reason why they chose someone else in the first place. Of course, I'm not saying there is no adjustments on the Dumper's side. Dumpers who chose another over their current relationship usually deal with a different type of adjustment. You were with another one day and another on the next. Of course, you tend to compare both at some point. Even risk that you will notice and regret that the former was better than the next. Either way, it was the choice that Dumpers are entitled to considering that relationships are about mutual agreement.
I know some people who would rather choose to be the one who will get hurt than the one who hurts another and usually they would do things to induce the other person to break up with them. They justify it as "it's awful enough that I fell out of love, I can't bear hurting her/him in the process." I think it's wrong though. If you are in a relationship with someone, be honest with them. They deserve it because they have been with you for so long and it would hurt more if you take it slow with them. Like that song that goes:
Anyway, if you ask me, I fight for the relationship until the end. I'm the martyr type of girl and as much as I would like to be the DUMPER, I usually end up being the DUMPEE. I think it's better for me to really get over that person if I know he had the guts to hurt me that much. Of course, I'm the type to give second chances but second chances are one too many so if they hurt me again, I think it's bye-bye time. For one thing, I know my worth but I also know relationships are worth fighting for if you still love that person. I would go through heaven and hell for someone I love and I have done so and will keep doing it again since I guess I never learn. :)

Scars of the heart
I got burned because of riding a Habal-Habal last Sunday and the way it's healing right now, I could see that it's going to leave a very ugly scar later on. So I asked my aunt and Lola for something that could help me with the scar. As expected, they recommended an old remedy, by using Sebo de Macho or Mantika de Cacao. It's supposedly an effective and cheap method to lighten up scars but you have to apply it when the scar is still fresh and religiously every morning and every night. I used to apply this before for my old scars but the thing is I have to keep it refrigerated or else the oil will eventually lose it's sebum state and it will spill all over the place if you open it accidentally and that's the part I hated. Still in order to lighten up the scar, I guess I have to settle with this instead of the more expensive creams out there. If anyone could donate, I would probably be very happy. Lol!
An idea came up when I was applying it earlier. Is there an effective scar remover for the heart? Or at least something potent enough to lighten up the hurt and bitterness you felt because of the wounds you garnered because of giving your heart away? I would definitely get one no matter how expensive. Sadly there is no such thing and there are no wounds in my heart. Maybe something is in there that's healing but it certainly is not a wound. Maybe like a runner, my heart just got tired and is resting its sore muscles, massaging it until it's ready for another marathon. Nonetheless, I thank God for all I have ever experienced. They taught me well. I believe he has reasons for everything and regret is his way of telling me to appreciate people more who has come into my life and went. Whether it be old friends and lovers, whether it's old and new acquaintances, or whether they be important or not, I know I can learn from each and everyone of them. Next time I know better than to burn bridges.
